Geocachingde is
an on-line "meeting place" for the Delaware Geocachers
group. Of course, everyone is welcome here. We hope you
like what you see and will consider becoming a member of
Delaware Geocachers.
Delaware Geocachers got its start in the summer of 2003 when a
geocacher with the username of Howie hosted a gathering at the Lum's
Pond State Park. That day's activities led to the formation of a group
of like-minded geocachers who were interested in helping this new sport
catch hold and thrive in Delaware. Currently the group is headed by
Mike Ott.
As you can see, the site has two navigation menus - one at the top and
one at the left. The menu at the top focuses on the Delaware Geocachers
group providing information about the group and its activities. The
menu at the left focuses on geocaching in general and geocaching in
Delaware in specific.
Our home page will be updated at least monthly and feature such
articles as an interview with a Delaware Geocacher, a tip-off to a
particularily well done Delaware geocache, invitations to Delaware
Geocaching Events, and other articles designed to enhance your Delaware
geocaching experiences.
Although this site is being presented and maintained by the Delaware
Geocachers we view it as yours. And, in that regard, we hope visitors
to the site will become involved in keeping it fresh and alive. This
can best happen if you provide input.
Throughout the site you will see this link contact us.
Clicking that link will open your e-mail program and present you with a
blank e-mail form pre-addressed to us. Send us your suggestions,
comments, and requests. Together we can help make Delaware one of the
premier geocaching locations in the nation.
